Environmental Cleaning Tech (level 1)
Cleaning Techs will oversee a variety of janitorial, custodial, and/or security tasks to maintain clean and safe buildings and grounds. The ability to follow instructions, follow through tasks, and deliver consistent practices to maintain a clean and safe building. PHC – Cleaning Division will require the following:
- Sweep, dust mop, wet mop, scrub, vacuum, and performs other duties needed to maintain the cleanliness of building floors.
- Removes trash, clean and sanitize counters, equipment, and furnishings, and performs other duties as needed to maintain the cleanliness of office areas, conference rooms, restrooms, break-rooms, and other assigned work areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, and break-rooms.
- Knowledge of standard clean methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the janitorial services.
- Most important is the ability to follow instructions.
- Report to work on Time.
- Special Events (by request): Set-up chairs, tables, and other equipment in meeting rooms, and other public areas; handles emergency clean-ups; performs other related work as needed.
Physical Requirements: The job duties require an employee to bend, reach, lift, and stand for extended periods.
Education: No specific amount of formal education is required. Trainable, and can follow instructions.
Experience: We do welcome seasoned workers with experience.
NOTE: Equivalent combinations of education and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be evaluated on an individual basis.
